Idopte Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes the policies on the collection and use of personal information when using the products distributed by Idopte.
Definitions
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
Company (referred to as either "Idopte", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to Idopte, located at 1, rue de Stockholm, 75008 Paris, France.
Application refers to applications provided by Idopte.
Products or Services refers to services or software products provided or sold by Idopte.
User means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
Data usage
Types of Data Collected
Personal identity information can be obtained from certificates contained in the cryptographic tokens read by the Application. This information is kept locally on the device in order to improve performance (data caching), but is never collected by the Company, or otherwise sent outside of the device (except for explicit use cases, for example when the User authenticates using the certificate on a remote application).
IP adresses and product version information are used by the automatic license update service, and stored temporarily on the Company's servers for debugging purposes only. No other personal information is collected.
Deletion of User personal data
This is not applicable as no personal information is collected.
Debug logging
Logs can optionally be produced when technical problems need to be analyzed remotely. Activation of these logs required both an action at the Company's side, and on the application side, by the User. When this functionality is activated by the User (following instructions given by the Company), the User consents that some usage data, including parts of the data exchanged between the software and the cryptographic token, is sent to the Company for analysis.
Logs do not include sensitive data such as PIN codes, but some personal information may be included.
For this specific case, a direct contact between the User and the Company needs to be established, during which the User can indicate upfront how his personal data should be handled and later deleted.
